What is Labour Market Information (LMI)?
Labour Market Information (LMI) is information about jobs, careers and the world of work. It helps people understand which industries are growing, what skills employers are looking for, what qualifications may be needed, and what employment opportunities are available locally and nationally.
At The Axis Academy, we use LMI to help pupils develop an awareness of future career pathways, make informed choices about their learning, and understand how education links to employment and life beyond school. LMI supports pupils in raising aspirations and preparing for their future.
This information is regularly updated to reflect changes in the economy and job market.
