The Axis Academy is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Leading Parent Partnership Award .

The award recognises schools that work in partnership with all parents and carers and that focus on increasing parental participation in school life, thereby improving pupil progress, punctuality, attendance and behaviour.

To achieve this accolade it was identified that the school’s approaches and initiatives have helped strengthen the connection between home and school and the Axis Academy have a commitment to listening to parents and implementing changes that positively affect their community. Please note, all volunteers will be subject to completion of an Enhanced Disclosure application and certificate, an application form and references satisfactory to the School. Volunteers will also need to complete a safeguarding, fire and health and safety induction.
