School Meals
The Axis Academy provides healthy and balanced meal options which also provide value for money. We strongly believe there is a link between a healthy diet and the ability to learn effectively.
Our catering service is provided by Caterlink who cook fresh meals on site daily. The menus will include a choice of hot meals, including vegetarian options, sandwiches or wraps and soup with a baguette. A dessert and drink will also be included.
Students are able to decide what they want from the menus each morning as they come into school. If a student does not want any of the options on a particular day, they can order a sandwich or a wrap. The menus are set to a 3 weekly rotation as above.
The cost for a school lunch is £2.40 per day. If you feel that your child is eligible for a free school meal, please navigate to https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/schools/school-meals/free_school_meals.aspx, which provides up-to-date criteria information. You can also apply online from this page or alternatively telephone Cheshire East (0300 123 5012).
There continues to be no charge for breakfast and break time snacks.
Parents/Carers are requested to pay in advance for school meals via the Arbor Parent Payment App. The school office will provide and necessary support in setting up and using the Arbor App.
Students who wish to bring a packed lunch from home are welcome to do so. Students bringing their own packed lunch and/or snacks, are asked not to bring in fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate bars.
