School Meals
The Axis Academy provides healthy and balanced meal options which also provide value for money. We strongly believe there is a link between a healthy diet and the ability to learn effectively.
Our catering service is provided by Caterlink who cook fresh meals on site daily. The menus will include a choice of hot meals, including vegetarian options, sandwiches or jacket potatoes. A dessert and drink will also be included.
Students are able to decide what they want from the menus each morning as they come into school. If a student does not want any of the options on a particular day, they can order a sandwich of their choosing, or a jacket potato. The menus are set to a 3 weekly rotation as per below menu.
The cost for this will be £2.40 per day (No charge for those eligible for free school meals), but there will continue to be no charge for breakfast and break time snacks.
Parents/Carers are requested where ever possible to pay in advance via the Arbor Parent Payment App, as we strive to become a cashless school. The school office will provide and necessary support in setting up and using the Arbor App.
Students who wish to bring in a packed lunch from home are welcome to do so. Students bringing in their own packed lunch and/or snacks, are asked not to bring in fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate bars.
