Quality in Careers Standard Award
The Axis Academy is proud to have been awarded the Quality in Careers Standard through Career Mark, the national quality award for careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG).
This externally validated accreditation recognises the quality, impact and breadth of our careers provision and demonstrates our commitment to providing pupils with meaningful, personalised careers education that prepares them for their future pathways.
Our careers programme supports pupils across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 to:
- Develop aspirations and career awareness
- Learn about a wide range of education, training and employment opportunities
- Build employability and life skills
- Engage with employers, colleges and training providers
- Make informed decisions about their next steps
In June 2026, following a rigorous external assessment, The Axis Academy successfully retained the Quality in Careers Standard. The assessor praised the academy’s well-planned careers programme, strong transition support, excellent partnerships, and commitment to meeting the individual needs of our pupils. The report recognised the quality and breadth of careers provision across the school and confirmed that The Axis Academy continues to make strong progress against the Gatsby Benchmarks.
